And back to the Simon's Town marina that had an unexpected visitor today (Friday 4.9.20) - maybe he wants to buy a boat?

...think they will skadaddle Eddie , I know the rays are more stroke friendly - manta's please not stingrays :D :D !

...I think Seacat can give some nice answers there as he works daily out at sea.

The owner of this plastic owl tells me that it keeps the seabirds away and stops them crapping all over his boat. Well, I don't have a plastic owl on my boat and the sea birds don't crap on it either, but it makes a nice story for the pub and worth a beer or three ...

There's nothing to show the size of this fellow, but he was about 1 metre across, very impressive for inside the Simon's Town marina in about 2 metres of water ....
